The rules, and the limits.

One page, in plain words: what HabitaAR is and what you agree to by using it, what a page or a call can and cannot do for you, how we are paid, who we may introduce you to, and the rules for the site.

What HabitaAR is, and what you agree to

HabitaAR is a project run by Sam and Sofía from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The pages, guides, and other materials are general information and orientation for people moving to Argentina; the calls and the written plans are the two of us helping you work through your own case.

By using the site, booking a call, or writing to us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or send information through it.

We do our best, but things change

Immigration practice, tax treatment, bank access, rental norms, health-plan admission rules, prices, and local enforcement all change in Argentina — sometimes fast. The written rule and the lived process do not always agree.

We keep what we publish current and practical as best we can, but no page can promise that every detail is complete, current, or right for your exact situation. Any plan, sequence, or next step we suggest is based on the information available at the time and the facts you give us.

So we do not guarantee government approvals, document outcomes, bank-account access, housing availability, health-plan or insurer admission, tax treatment, immigration timelines, or the results of anyone we introduce. Admission and approval rules are set by each office and institution. We check the current ones for your case; we do not set them.

This is not legal advice

What we publish and what we say on a call is information and orientation, not legal, immigration, tax, financial, medical, insurance, or real-estate advice. HabitaAR is not a law firm, a tax firm, an immigration practice, a medical provider, a financial advisor, an insurance broker, a real-estate agency, or a government office.

We know how this system works from the inside, but we are not lawyers, accountants, doctors, or licensed brokers. Nothing on the site and nothing said on a call replaces advice from a lawyer, an accountant, a doctor, or a licensed broker. When the stakes are high, verify with official sources or one of them before acting.

A call is a conversation, not representation

The free intro call is a conversation: we listen, tell you honestly whether we can help, and explain how we work and what it costs. You decide nothing on the call.

A call can help you understand the shape of a problem, what depends on what, and the likely next steps. It can also tell you when it is time to bring in a lawyer, an accountant, a doctor, or a licensed broker.

None of it makes HabitaAR your lawyer, accountant, legal or immigration representative, broker, insurance agent, real-estate agent, or anyone else acting on your behalf — and neither does discussing your situation by message, writing you a plan, or making an introduction. We do not file applications for you, negotiate on your behalf, or represent you before any office.

How we are paid

You pay us directly for our time and our written work. Before any payment, the scope, the price, and what you get are stated in writing. Translation and document services we coordinate are billed the same way, before anyone starts.

We take no commissions from the lawyers and accountants we recommend; your lawyer's entire fee goes to your lawyer.

Introductions and third-party links

Where it helps, we may introduce you to a lawyer, an accountant, a translator, or another provider. That person is independent and responsible for their own advice, services, fees, timelines, and outcomes. An introduction is not an endorsement of every action they take, and it does not guarantee that they will take your case.

The site may link to official sources and third-party providers. They are responsible for their own content, terms, privacy practices, pricing, and services, and external links can change or disappear — check the source before relying on dates, prices, availability, or requirements.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us and for deciding whether to act on any information. Where your situation calls for a lawyer, an accountant, a doctor, or a licensed broker, bringing one in is on you. The final decision about what to do, who to hire, and what risk to accept is yours.

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or republish content at scale, or submit unlawful, misleading, or harmful material.

Intellectual property

HabitaAR owns or licenses the site design, writing, structure, branding, and original materials unless otherwise noted. You may read and share links to public pages, but you may not copy, resell, or republish substantial parts of the site without permission.

Liability limits

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HabitaAR is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the site, reliance on its content, the actions of third parties, or unavailable services.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to every user.

Changes and governing law

We may update the site, our services, and these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina.
